UPDATED: SEP 23, 2020 Dark amber, big rocky head which subsidies to a cm of foam. Aroma of dark fruit and burnt sugar. Taste of plums, dates, caramel, yeasty throughout. Good, even if it doesn’t quite live up to the bottle!

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2020 Аромат классический для Бельгии и этого стиля, он очень пряный, гвоздика, перец и прочие, немного темных фруктов, умеренный солод с нотками шоколада, хлеба и карамели. Цвет не полностью темный, скорее темно коричневый, пенка средняя но держится долго. Вкус тоже хороший, очень сбалансирован. Прежде всего темные фрукты, затем в теле ( кстати не сильно плотный для таких градусов ) есть нотки тех же пряностей. Послевкусие более дрожжевое, уже нотки шоколада и карамели, но без приторности, снова очень сбалансированно. Могут быть нотки от алкоголя. В целом просто отличный эль в стиле.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2020 750 ml bottle. Chestnut colored with a short off white head. Aromas of toasted sugars, spices, dried fruits, and brown bread. Spicy and fruity. Raisins, plums, herbs, cocoa, and caramel. Good carbonation and light booziness

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2020 Spicy malt aroma in a murky brown pour. Smooth laid back body with hints of spicy fruit and bread before a lovely lingering finish. No hint of the strength - which makes it dangerously delicious.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2020 Bottle. A- Malty, bread dough, slightly fruity, caramel. A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Malty, fruit cake, caramel, mild booze. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- 5 years old. Pretty basic if you ask me. Not complex and really just bready malt and caramel. Wonder if this was better back in the day. I sure was not impressed.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2019 Proefglas van 75cl-fles. U: Wazig amber met een beige schuimkraag. G: Sinaasappel, karamel, esters en alcohol. S: Zoet met een lichte bitterheid. Esters, karamel en sinaasappel. M: Volmondig met matige carbonatie. Plakkerig.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2019 Chocolate caramel malt spice aroma. Murky brown colour poor head and lacing. Malt caramel chocolate spice flavour. Smooth lingering palate.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2019 Hazy dark amber with a little head. Malty, fruit in rum, raisins, brown sugarm fortunately only little sweetness, herbs, a bit boozy, good!
