UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Keg at Beatnikz Bar, Manchester. Near black, ring of head. Unusually twiggy aroma, lots of coffee, caramel, winter berries. Taste is robust, bittersweet, full bodied. Tasty but not my favourite Speedway.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 Draught at Csak a jó sör!, Budapest. Really dark. AROMA- roasted malts, coffee, pralines, alcohol. FLAVOR- smooth, creamy, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, warming, dark chocolate, coffee, pralines. Fuller to full bodied. Really good.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2021 #4710 Black. Aroma of coffee, dark berries, black currant, fruit. Taste is quite bitter, creamy, slightly sweet, coffee, coffee peels, cocoa, sugar candies, dark berries. Full body.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2021 On tap. Black body with a lasting creamy beige head. Lots of chocolate and robust coffee notes in the aroma and the taste with notes of caramel, nutmeg and cocoa. The end of the sip has lots of floral hops. Awesome like all versionsof the Speedway stout.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2021 Deep black color and a nice tan head. Sweet, spicy, roasted malts, lots of chocolate and coffee....fine stuff! Warming mouthfeeling.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2021 On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, wood and chocolate. Pours pitch black color with large creamy light brown head and good lacing. Taste starts with moderate sweet and rich roasted malt and chocolate, follows by vanilla, dried fruit and mild smoke, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is average bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Heavenly work of art…

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2021 Tap at Ghetto Something, Koper. Vintage 2018. Opaque colour, beige head. Roasted, coffeish, bready nose. Medium-bodied. Smooth palate. Coffee, hints of vanilla, roasted with long aftertaste, some warming alcohol in the finish. Speedway Stout can't get much better.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2021 Tap @ Åben Århus. Pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma and flavour are roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee, and liquorice - with a roasted finish.
