UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 500 ml corked and caged. 2021 bottle. Exquisite aroma has notes of jammy berries, oak, funk. Pours nearly clear ruby red with a one finger purple-white head that falls quickly into a ring. Taste is moderately sour (7/10) with flavors of berries and oak and funk. Highly carbonated foamy mouthfeel. Nice beer.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2021 Shared 16.9 oz. bottle poured to a snifter showing a hazed, rosy color, a decent layer of pink froth that reduced expeditiously to a thin ring, with spots & strands of lacing. The nose was light funk, dark fruit & skins, berries, and a bit of leathery scent to the oaky hints. Medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with lively effervescence, and appropriate tartness that was intensified by some tannins, and a dusty dryness to the finish.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2021 Boysenberries are pretty dominating here, as is the French oak. Lesser degrees of sour cherry and blueberry. Super tasty finish with lots of oaky acid. Ruby pour without much head. Tap at Dominion.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2021 Purplish red pour. Jammy nose with a little underlying funk. Flavor is jammy, floral, light acidity and pucker. Very nice. 4.1+
