UPDATED: DEC 27, 2021 355ml bottle. Pale golden shade with short head. Nice aroma with banana and bubblegum character. Balanced taste with vanilla and sweet fruits, barrel notes are faint but tie it nicely together.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2021 Almost feels like a cocktail than a beer. Nicely rounded and rich, not crisp. Mild aroma. A little bitter on the palate.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2021 12 oz. Aroma is bready, vanilla, (light) banana, peppery. Pours hazy golden with one finger off-white foam with decent retention. Taste is sweet with faint bitterness; flavors like the aroma descriptors. Warming sense of alcohol warms the belly, but it's not boozy by any means. Perfect creamy mouthfeel. Delicious.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2021 Pours a lovely deep gold with a short head that leaves some big old bubbles. Aroma is muted oak and yeast. Very creamy and smooth on the palate with some sweet vanilla and a slightly tart bourbon finish. Quite carbonated and dry. Very unique tripel.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2021 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a foamy white head. Lemony aroma with light spices. Medium body. Smooth with some light Belgian spices and hints of sweet vanilla and oak. Hides the alcohol well. The barrel aging counters the normal dryness of a Tripel. Much smoother and not harsh at all. Finishes with a lingering spicy warmth. Pretty enjoyable.

Värmande alkohol, nejlika och andra julkryddor, lite bourbon, säd, honung, mogen banan. Det finns en bra trippel där men jag vet inte om jag tycker fatlagringen tillfört något positivt. Ok+
