UPDATED: DEC 29, 2020 Slightly cloudy pale gold with a frothy white head, and a sweet malt and citrus fruit aroma. The taste is bitter and fruity, with a Seville orange marmalade vibe to it, a somewhat chewy mouthfeel and a long dry, bitter finish

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 Allendale Wanderlust IPA 6.5%. Cloudy golden amber, zesty aroma, full bodied, pale malt, citrusy, bitter grapefruit, orange peel, complex bitter fruity finish. Lovely West Coast IPA from Hexham, Northumberland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, fruity hops, light dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, sweet malt, pale malt, citrus - grapefruit - orange, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180724]

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2020 330ml can. My first Northumberland beer. Gold cloudy with small white head and solid retention. Aroma is sweet, sticky fruit puree of mango, passionfruit. Taste is malts with a slightly dulled grapefruit and mango hopiness. Body is a bit lighter than I was expecting but the carbonation is fine. There is a nice undercurrent of bitterness slightly hidden with a citrus note in the finish. A mixed bag but I enjoyed overall.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2020 Can from Morrisons. Hazy bronze pour without much head, strong grapefruit, earthy bitterness, a little dusty. Decent.
