UPDATED: OCT 25, 2021 Malty toasty aroma with caramel and bread, noble earthy spice hop Pours clear copper with small light tan head. Bready flavor, slightly sweet, slight butter, toast, and a light spice hop. Light to medium bodied with high co2, quick finish. As far as Oktoberfest style this may be my favorite. Don’t normally like this style much but this one is quite pleasant and easy drinking.

bhensonb (20185) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 2, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Can from Bottles N' Bins in Monterey, CA. Pours light, bright, clear copper with a frothy white head. Aroma is malty with something that made me think of the old powdered bubble bath soap. Med body. Flavor is malty, slightly like Tmavy toasty, with some thing that could be hop, and a baked wheat note in the finish. There is a definite bitterness. Good for the style!

Ernest (9030) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 28, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2020 Can (Sep 10, 2020 canning). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. A very simple, watery, quaffing-style version that is instantly forgettable but still drinkable.
