UPDATED: AUG 28, 2021 Large foamy white head stayed on an unclear pale gold body. Lemon & malt aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a sharp back. Lemon, stone fruit, grapefruit & malt tastes. Nicely balanced.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 The beer's appearance and introduction is textbook. Golden pour with wonderful head retention, it's super inviting in the glass. Its aroma is highly floral, piney cut with malts and citrus peel. A very nice bouquet. The taste is incrediblely consistent throughout the entire palate. It's medium malty sweetness, which is quickly flipped to bitter hops, finishes bitter but very smoothly and light. An easy drinking pale ale which is well structured and doesn't compromise on taste. Hard to compare it to many of the tricked up pale ales today as it may seem basic, but its simplicity as a prototypical APA is wonderful. It may not even be my favorite APA I've had recently; however, this beer's recipe has been around since 1975 and is a standard bearer. Much respect to those that paved the way out of the Miller/Coors/Bud miasma.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2020 Color ámbar intenso, espuma blanca y densa de una excelente persistencia, dejando marcas en el vaso. Aroma completo gracias al lúpulo, notas cítricas, frutales y de resina. Sabor en la misma línea, poco maltosa. Predomina la presencia del lúpulo dando sabores cítricos y a pino y resina. Final amargo. Una pale ale de manual.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2020 Amber colour, transparent, lots of bubbles.Big head, nice carbonation. Smell is resin, leather white pepper, grapefruit, flowery, puke. Watery taste, lots of hoppy grapefruit, well balanced, little sweetness. Subtle finish with grapefruit peel.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2020 One of the best pale ales one can drink. Excellent smell of pine, caramel taste with balanced carbonation and moderate bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Color anaranjado semitraslúcido de burbuja viva y fina espuma blanca periférica. Aroma intenso afrutado y algo cítrico monopolizado por el lúpulo. Sabor principalmente lupulado cob toque cítrico e incluso tirando más a ácido que amargo al principio. Final muy seco. Cuerpo y carbonatación medios

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 33 cl bottle served in a snifter. Poured clear Amber with two finger off White head. Aroma: grassy hops, caramel, peach, vanilla, citrus, pineapple, orange peel. Taste: Orange peel, caramel, citrus, bitter grassy hops, vanilla, grapefruit, pineapple, Pine. Medium body with bittersweet hoppy finish. Nice!

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2020 Lighter amber with no bubbles Sweet malt, slight spice, starinise, not very pronounced, slight pine. Creamy, hoppy, herbal tea, slight citrus, very slight burn.
