UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met mooie lichtbruine schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter en vol romig met iets van rook, zwarte sterke koffie en bittere chocolade. Klasse!

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2021 On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Cewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head and good lacing. Chocolate and dark fruits to the fore in the aroma. In the mouth it is creamy with a real mix of flavours, liquorice, roasts malts, dark chocolate, and hints of spices. Some bitter coffee grounds come into the equation later on. Finish is bitter with a warming flow inside. This is a classic porter.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2021 (bottle 0,355l from online shop beershop.cz) Overall: Nice porter. Strong on licorice and dark malts, quite complex taste. Aroma: Sweet, licorice, dark malts, light coffee. Appearance: Dark brown to black. Medium, light brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, licorice, dark malts, caramel, light roasty, light coffee, light chocolate, some spicy. Palate: Medium body. Light astringent finish.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2021 a good classic. nothing fancy but a perfect straightforward porter. nice head. deep flavour of coffee and a hint of licorice. pretty darn good standard.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2021 Bottle. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Pretty smooth. Taste is sweet, probably too much so. A slightly unpleasant aftertaste. I was a bit disappointed.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2021 355ml bottle, forgotten where I purchased this. Was in the fridge but had left it out for an hour. Black pour, with small beige head. Aroma of liquorice, coffee, treacle, chocolate, figs. Very inviting. Taste is quite dry and liquorice noted, before other elements come in, quite rich, tangy and bitter. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. I would have liked a bit more fruitiness to offset the rich notes more but for me that that's the only difference between a very good beer and a great beer.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2021 Looks: black, with high, creamy, tan head. Aroma: coffee, chocolate, prune, tar, smoke. Taste: bitter and light sweet. Dry finish.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2021 Świetny klasyk. W aromacie sporo gorzkiej czekolady, kawy i duzo paloności. Wygląd idealny. W smaku dużo kwaskowości, palonosci, kawy, gorzka czekolada w tle, spora pełnia. Bardzo wyraziste, mocno palone, świetne piwo.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2021 Robe sombre et noire. Nez assez timide sur des notes torréfiées. La bouche est très douce et légère, presque aqueuse, on retrouve des notes de café, de chocolat et de malts grillés mais ce n'est pas très intense. Un porter assez simple finalement.
