UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Hazy, medium body, pineapple, citrus flavor and aroma. Curious what yeast is used by Anchor in this beer. Part of a mixed 12 pack. I was surprised Liberty Ale was not one of the 4 beers. New fangled Anchor Brewing updates packaging and producing less traditional beers.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2021 Can. Light hazy amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit linger.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2021 Pours clear topaz with a frothy beige head. Aroma delivers mango, resiny hops, tangy pineapple, citrus and fresh malt. Flavor presents piney hops with mango, orange and pineapple tones plus a little fresh malt. Texture offers good body and peppy fizz. Crack open them tropical vibes.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2021 Aroma floral hops and mild sweetness/bubblegum/bananas. The flavor is fruit, kind of strange malts and a hoppy/very dry finish.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 I poured it from the can into a shaker. It pours a hazy orange with a nice, white head and lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, and hops. The taste is mango, orange, hops. It's refreshing and tasty. I could have a few of these.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2021 One of four types in a variety pack. Average white head a top a hazy golden body. It smells sweet, sweeter than any IP I've ever smelled probably. Like citrus fruits. Now this is my I kind of IPA it's not too bitter it's kind of sweet and it doesn't have that lingering aftertaste I so dislike.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2021 From the variety pack. First time I have seen it and it's at a store that I don't frequent that often. All were packaged in April. Pours a lightly hazed straw gold with an impressive head of foam and lacing. Smells of mango, pineapple and oranges. Taste is mango, pineapple, oranges, toasted malt and Anchor yeast. Very tasty. Great juicy mouthfeel. For being a bit over 4 months old, this is quite impressive.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2021 12 oz can. Smells of grapefruit and lime zest. Hazy and dark yellow in color. Juicy, less sweet than others. Tastes of mild citrus juice. Finish is semi sweet with a hint of fruit. OK, but nothing new.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2021 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, hint of dishwater. Flavor is muddled, light sweet, light bitter. Light body

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2021 12oz can. Really fails to capture the style. Malty toffee tone, awkward orange juice hop tone. Needs more hop bite to balance out the malt tones. Quite weak and lame for the style. Drinkable, but nto a good IPA of any sort.
