UPDATED: NOV 14, 2021 Poured from 750mL bottle (2021 vintage; batch 2). Black with virtually no beige head and a few floating sediment pieces. Mild coconut, vanilla, chocolate, lactose, alcohol integrated well. Balanced and enjoyable.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2021 Bottle split with friends on 4/9/21. Darkest brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and coconut. Malty and chocolatey flavor with vanilla and coconut character before a spicy bourbon finish.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2020 Bottle at a share: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is loads of chocolate and a ton of cake. Taste is sweet, oily, no bitterness. Alcohol is well covered. Pretty smooth.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2019 750ml bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is lots of sweet chocolate bourbon barrel notes coconut vanilla fudge wow. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate vanilla barrel very good. Total dessert beer.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2019 Backlog, pours a black color with a smaller beige head and light lacing. Notes are decadent brownie, coffee, vanilla bean, cinnamon, cacao, and bourbon. The body is medium and the booze is hidden nicely. Maybe a touch sweet but I can dig it in smaller doses
