UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 Draft beer. Hazy yellow color. Looks like NEIPA. Citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, mango aroma and flavor. It was a bit watery. Finish is grapefruits like bitterness. So far, this is the best beer in Archipelago brewery

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2021 330 ml on tap from a local supermarket (!). Pours amber with a small head, aroma of just a little fruit and some malt, taste of maris otter malt and some slightly resinous and subdued hops. Perhaps a little too sweet, but quite a nice beer with a lightly oily mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2021 330 ml bottle from the local Cold Storage supermarket. Appearance is a slightly hazy orange gold, topped with half a finger of white froth. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit. Taste is citrus, oranges, although it comes across as a little artificial. Malts, some caramel. And ends with a resinous bitter.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2020 On tap at O'Learys Changi Airport Terminal 2. A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, light grapefruit and some resin. The same in the taste. The finish was medium bitter. An ok one.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2019 In Brewpub am Flughafen Singapur, Terminal 2 Gelber trüber Körper, fingerbreiter dichter Schaum. Aroma: Zitrus, Hefe, relativ frisch. Eine wenig Getreide, leichte Malzsüsse Geschmack: eher dünner Antrunk. Bitter. Brot, leichter Südfrüchteansatz, etwas Zitrus.Eher ohne viel Charakter.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2019 Had during a quick transit stop in Singapore. T2 Changi airport. Good body and flavor. Clear, amber, crimson look. Fine lacy head. Palate had decent length and all round a good little surprise passing through Changi.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2019 On tap at Archipelago, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bittering hops, with a touch of citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with bittering earthy hops, biscuity malt, and more bittering hops. Lacking any real hop flavour; it’s just harsh bitterness. Poor.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 In the heat of Singapore, it is an amazing opportunity to have a fresh crispy IPA on draft. If it wasn’t $12 I would have a number more.

The best of the Archipelago beers I tried. Some bitterness. Well balanced. Decent.

Keg at The Queen and Mangosteen, Singapore. Cloudy pale orange colour, small head. Intense aroma of tropical blossom and tangerine. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Slightly caramelly with unpleasant resinous character. Tangerine and caramel succumbs to inky bitterness in the finish. Typical edgy unrefined faux craft stuff.
