JorisPPattyn (12750) - Wilrijk, BELGIUM - OCT 4, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2021 I Somewhat aged sample /I Slow gushing to small (!) but stable white head over orange-golden beer. Very perfumey nose, lavender, and lightly coloured malts. Very perfumed, lavender, other soapy spices and somewhere a more agressive spice - galanga, ginger, laurel leaf...? Very dry, Bretty. Soft carbonation, light body. Weird if original, puzzling but not bad! I Thanks to Stef! /I

MarcoDL (8408) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 13, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2020 Bottle. Golden, very lively pour, with a huge foamy head. Aroma of that typical wild brett funk, white grape, soft horseblanket, citrus, grainy malt and grapefruit. Taste has funky white grape, dry brett, citrus, hay, grapefruit, grainy malt, soft horseblanket and bitter grassy hop. Nice brett saison.

Ernest (9030) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 3, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2020 Bottle. Head is initially large, creamy, rocky/clumpy, white, fully lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (lemon oil, flowers, herbs), with notes of mint, peppercorn, camphor. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic, lightly astringent. Pretty nice rendition...starts out with a beautiful appearance, and the hop character is very citrus-oily and pungent, with nice background spicy-yeasty notes (maybe a tad medicinal, but that quality is mild). Good quaffing balance and clean. Short of 'wow' for me, but a solid saison.

Rubin77 (7197) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 30, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2020 33cl bottle from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: huge, white, good retention. C: gold, milky hazy. A: malty, mellow fruity, bit yeasty, floral, brett, bit citrus, hoppy touch, bit spicy. T: medium malty base, bit citrus, yeasty, spicy, dry on the palate, bit funky, brett, high carbonation, nice wild saison, enjoyed for sure.

thegreenrooster (6180) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 13, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2019 Pour is a hazy orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma is brett spicy with some must and vanilla. Flavor is a bland chalky malt with a minor brett influence. Nothing really super musty or sour comes out. Finish is a little cherry juice. Decent saison but the brett came out more in the aroma than the flavor

AllGrainMeister34 (1) - - JUN 24, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2019 750ml bottle bought from Beermania in Brussels. Aromas of peach with red and dark berries and white and red grapes with the white grapes becoming more noticeable as the beer warms. No noticeable spicy aromas. Hazy, deep straw/golden colour with a fine white head that isn't fluffy but lingers. Flavour of peach and pear stone fruits. Very clean, short finish, no bitterness and slight astringency in the finish. Perhaps not a textbook Saison, but very enjoyable and very well made. I would definitely drink another bottle when the chance comes.
