Aggie80 (923) - Michigan, USA - NOV 8, 2020UPDATED: NOV 8, 2020 Gift from a student at the end of the class. Dark pour with a bit of tan head that dissipated quickly. I was underwhelmed. The aroma was dark coffee with that barrel aged smell permeating it. No hint of peanuts in the aroma or the flavor. Strong alcohol masks many of the flavors with a hint of bitter coffee in the aftertaste.

cam0617 (219) - Colroado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 13, 2020UPDATED: AUG 13, 2020 Aroma is not strong for a 15% beer which I enjoy. I love the color, so dark you can't see through it. Very smooth for the percentage of alcohol. High nut flavor which is very enjoyable. Enjoy the beer while it last!

Moderate dark bread, no noticeable hops, moderate dough for the yeast, with peanut, raspberry jam, rum in the background. Head is small, wispy, light tan, with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts heavily sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately to heavily sweet and moderately bitter.
