UPDATED: JUN 9, 2021 Draught at Dogtap Mariendorf. Clear amber, very thin head. Clove, nutmeg, some cinnamon, reminds me of Becherovka. Sweet, lots of spices.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2021 backlog, bottled Aug 1, 2017. Drank.. umm... early 2020, I think. Pours a hazy burnt orange color It smells of caramel malt, pumpkin pie spices, pumpkin, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet and sugary with nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, and malt. Rum? I can't really tell. The very high alcohol content is buried by a massive dose of sugary malt. There's too much of that. It ends up being flavor and fairly good, but it's too sweet and to me not good enough to justify the very high price point.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2020 Bottle 2016: Pours a headless rusty amber with a golden hue. Hugely sweet aroma reminiscent of a big boozy barley wine. In the realm of JW Lee’s. Overripe candied fruits, honey, booze. Slick body. Warming, big and sweet but not cloying. Lots of overripe dried fruits, honey, and as it warms there’s a note of clove and ginger. Perhaps a faded spearmint hop note. Toasted sweet finish. It’s more like a barrel aged barley wine. Sampled at 4 years old. If you like big sweet barely wines you’ll like this.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2020 2016 bottle. Pours burnt orange w/ no head or lacing. The aroma screams pumpkin pie & fall goodness! The flavor revolves around the rum w/ subtle autumn spices popping off. Very tasty, potent, & relatively easy to drink. Awesome stuff!

MrBeerFanatic (1306) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - OCT 28, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2019 Dark copper with quick faded head. Big spicy aromas of nutmeg, cinnomin, caramel, toffee, banana bread, whiskey, oak wood. Flavors medium nutmeg, cinnamon, eggnog, slight banana, alcohol in nose mostly, caramel. High sweetness high complexity. Really enjoy d this beer for our family Halloween party in Indy 2019!!!!! Would but again if it wasn't 12 bucks per bottle, worth it though! Special beer in that it's unique and dessert like and the pumpkin blends the whole realm of flavors together. This glass bottle was from 2017 so it would be 2 years old, ages so very well. Buy a couple for fall time, wow. Says 16.9 abv.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2019 On tap taste at Frisco Tap House in Columbia, MD. Clear, amber gold with a near white head and good lacing. Aroma of dried light fruit, pumpkin, candied fruit, caramel and alcohol. Taste of caramel, pumpkin, sweet booze and candied fruit with a significant alcohol burn. Medium body and low/medium carbonation.

jimhilt (2732) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 16, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 Pours a one finger off-white head that fades quickly leaving a good lace. Amber hazy color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Spicy nose and flavor is sweet, not cloying, spice and pumpkin, mellowing. Bottled Aug 2016. Seriously pricey at $14.95 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

NobleTeam26 (760) - Kyiv, UKRAINE - MAR 2, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Dark red color, no foam. Sweet pumpkin aroma. Very alcoholy strong and sweet taste. It's very far from my idea of a beer. Too strong, too sweet for me.

stevoj (12142) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 12, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2019 Taster at bottle share, 2015 vintage. Aroma brings some pumpkin pie notes, sweet, hint of spice. Taste hits with a the right amount of booze, sweet, and strong. Nice savory notes top off the whole package.
