UPDATED: DEC 27, 2018 Bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy pale purple with no real head. Aroma of fruit and spice. Taste is fruit, berries, spice, chocolate, and a hint of bourbon. Very nice.

Draught at Taphouse. Clear ruby colored with no head. Fruity aroma of cherries with notes of cherry wine and pepper. Fruity and light acidic flavor of cherries, cherry wine, pepper, honey and alcohol. Peppery finish.

sample at tom's place, thanks man! pours unclear dark burgundy with some almost dirty legs. smoky chipotle, tingling peppers, lactosean dark cherries, medium dark cocoa powder, sweetness - red honey and berries. flat carbonation, medium body - oily; sweet and spicy finish. seemed dumb on paper. not only on paper.

Hard to evaluate because it's not a style of mead I like much and I think it goes in way too many directions in terms of flavors but I recognize that it's well-made nonetheless. Chipotle is the dominant flavor though the cherries (nose) and chocolate (taste) are quite present too.

Environ 6 oz d'une bouteille de 375 ml, à la maison. Couleur rubis foncé avec des jambes sur les parois du verre. Au nez, le chipotle fait sentir sa présence rapidement, suivi par les cerises, le miel et l'alcool. Au goût, c'est le chocolat qui arrive en premier suivi par un réchauffement du chipotle et de l'alcool (quand même 14% abv), un sucre discret du miel et une très légère acidité. Corps moyen. Pas de bulles. Texture un brin huileuse. Finale qui réchauffe. J'ai bien de la difficulté à évaluer si c'est bien fait, je trouve que ça s'éparpille en termes de saveurs et ce n'est pas vraiment mon style alors mon appréciation est au mieux modérée, mais je reconnais quand même certaines qualité.

Pink red pour with no real head, quite flat. Nose has some chilli smoke, sweet sugared cherries, bit of cocoa. Taste really bites you with hot chipotle bite, Light smoke and liquorice soaked cherries. Unreal, really. Dragon milk barrel character coming through strong, really burning your throat. Oh, I thought it was a joke, there actually is some real dragon milk in this beer. I am dumbfounded. Great.

Deep purple color. This is like when I go on holidays to San Diego and get some Christmas chipotle chocolate bar in a touristy area. It’s expensive but I still buy it because my friends in Canada and Japan would appreciate something unique. The sweetness with the spicniness work well together. Good balance and highly drinkable. Just top notch
