andrewje41 (6568) - Monroe, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2017Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Near black pour, thick. Smooth and cool roasted malts. Rich chocolate, with a bold finish. Toasty and warming as an afterthought. A pretty standard stout as an overall, but tasty at that. Nice winter beer.

Palate is smooth, a bit light for style, but not watery, carbonation moderate. Finish is dry. This is better than I expected.

Palate: bitters continue, aroma repeating itself with toasted flavours, coffee and chocolate notes, medium duration and body. Overall: nice Stout, well-rounded and made, but nothing too innovative.
