COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2021 Bottle from Beer Zoo, Dunbar. Appearance - deep chestnut brown with a beige head. Nose - toffee, nuts and general praline. Taste - chewy toffee and nuts. Just a hint of raisin. Palate - medium bodied, chewy texture. Lightly sweet finish. Overall - a bit deeper than expected from a Landbier and can see why it has ben put into Dunkel / Tmavy style. Good.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2020 BB 13 10 20. From a bottle poured a clear dark brown with, after a vigorous pour, 1cm of light tan dense foam that diminished slowly to a blotchy cap that laced poorly. Carbonation moderate, lively and coarse. Aroma subtly of sweet dried dark fruits, caramel and malt. Taste is moderately sweet with slight dark dried fruits; rich and filling. Light to medium body. Smooth, crisp, clean and refreshing with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel and a medium-length finish.
