COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 Normally not an IPA guy but this beer totally changed my opinion!! After I took a sip of this beer I knew it was 100% time to slay with my IPA. This is absolutely perfect if you like your beer like you like your women; blonde.

Old old notes. Bottle. Kind of a citrusy caramel-pepper mess. Not too impressive, even for a michelob brew.

I’m surprised this beer isn’t retired. I haven’t seen it in a long time. Tried it on a hike across Bandelier National Park with Paul. Funky aroma, very stale. A bit of citrus, but not enough to overwhelm the off flavors. Watery body.

Hazy amber color; Light to medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, & some spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt, some hops, and light citrus; Not terrible...

Shitty diacetyl bomb. Bland yet rancid at the same time. Impressive, and not in a good way.

I drank this purely for the rating. I have to say, that there was not much of anything going on in this beer. A slight bit of spice and fruit, but very thin and bland.

A bit disappinted at this beer. Was expecting more, but found it to have very little taste and aroma. Ok to try once.

Golden pour without much head. Kind of thin mouthfeel. Not much lacing on glass. Fruity taste, but nothing memorable about it either. Smell was fruity as well, the smell was actually better than the taste.

translucent gold with just a ring of bubbles, medium body with medium-high carbonation.

aroma: peppery cascade-citrus hop aromatics, a bit of caramel malt sweetness. clean and pleasant.

taste: toffee malt sweetness, sweet orange, some leafy hop bitterness, a hint of astringent grain hunk, and another slightly odd note i can’t quite pin down.

Bottle. Pours a yellowish color with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts with a hint of honey and some light hops. Flavor is pretty dull. Mostly sweet, light malts, a little honey and some faint hops. Drinkable at best.
