UPDATED: APR 10, 2021 500ml can from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: medium, tanned, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: chocolate, coffee, dried dark fruits, tobacco touch. T: light malty base, decent bitterness, coffee, roasted tones, bit ash, chocolate, citrus touch, soft carbonation, bit foam avalanche effect, ok very good, enjoyed.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2020 Beamish irish stout . Birrificio beamish che produce quasi unicamente questa stout e assolutamente sì vere , nel senso che essendo così focalizzata ne esce fuori una birra fantastica. Preciso che l'ho venuta spillata a carbo-azoto. Colore nero impenetrabile , schiuma cremosissima e color caffelatte. Naso di torrefatto e caffè amaro, leggero sentore di liquirizia. Al gusto ritorna il caffè che si unisce al cioccolato ...sembra quasi di bere un irish coffee , spettacolare. Sul finale si caratterizza con un gusto amaro non fastidioso ma moooolto lungo e persistente , molto piacevole.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2020 'il solito' al pub che frequento di più era la Beamish. Una birra che non ti stanca mai, leggera di gradazione, dissetante, ne berresti litri! Ottima stout Irlandese 'caffelattosa', con schiuma spumosa (spillatura ad azoto). Per il mio gusto, superiore alla 'sorella' ben più famosa e diffusa.
