Opaque colour, small beige head and lacing. Roasted, ash, soya sauce, raisins in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted flavour with soya sauce, raisins and some alcohol. Smooth palate but somewhat a bit simple/rough old school stout. Very likeable but nowadays could use more than 55 IBUs.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2019 Toń niemal czarna. Piana obfita, opada do czapy. Aromat karmelu, lukrecji, kakao, wiśni, suszonych śliwek, metalu, coli. Ciało niskie, nisko nasycone. W smaku prażony słonecznik, paloność, suszone śliwki, kakao, lukrecja. Goryczka wyraźna. Bardzo dużo się dzieje w tym piwie, choć nie jest to wszystko ułożone.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2019 Czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana beżowa, drobna, ładnie się trzyma. Pojawiają się większe pęcherze. W aromacie kawa, świeże nuty, lekka 'owocowość'. Później lekka nuta wędzona, trochę więcej słodyczy. W smaku kwaskowe, goryczka i zdecydowana kawa. Ciało średnie. Przyjemny wytrawny posmak. Raczej wytrawne i kwasowe. Przyjemny american stout. Jak dla mnie na imperial to jednak mu brakuje ciała i mocy. Bardziej idzie w stronę FES-a.
