On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Thin body, toasted malt, earth, light finish, decent.

"poured as Jack London ESB. a decent example of the style, though not a standout. easy to drink, smooth, and balanced sweet malt and slight hopping & bitterness."

Nice and hoppy. Citrus and lots of hops. Not a whole lot else to it, but it tasted decent enough.

On draft at Bear Republic. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is toasty malt, toffee and some herbal scents. Flavor is rich toasty malt mostly with a medium to low hop bitterness and some fruity esters. Medium body with average carbonation. Great beer for the style, lots of toasty malt but not overly sweet.

Apricots and strawberries and little bitterness. Again BR aims for an English style beer and falls short. Better than the Endevour, but a bit too sweet for my likely. More balanced and restrained than the Endevour. Not bad, would have again.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Last BR brew of the night. Amber pour with some tan head. Woody, earthy and bitter hop aroma. Flavor has some sweet malt influence.

(Old BA rate - tap) Half-finger of lightly tan head; rich coppery brown color with really nice lacing. Hoppy and malty; earthy; rich; lightly sweet and a little dank hoppiness actually in the aroma. Great hoppiness (which surprised me and doesn’t quite match up with some of the other reviews); bit piney and earthy; balanced really well, though and had a more roasted tasting malt in the finish. Medium to thicker; rich and full; nice carbonation; a little creamy. Really enjoyable, and lower abv makes this a great session brew
