can8ianben (1929) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2016Really a lot going on in this glass - rich and dark, subtle sweetness, but also a lovely earthy and spicy addition of hops on top of everything. I really liked it - and would drink it more often if I lived near somewhere that sold Beau’s!
GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2016Bottle. Dark ruby-brown with a tan head. Aroma is as promised - cherry, dark malt, herbal hops - with subtle notes of cocoa, coffee and smoke. Flavour follows the lead of the aroma, with a nice balance of the cherry, roasted malt, mocha and hops - the latter being not quite as bright as in a fresher bottle I had a few months ago, but still bringing a nice dry citrus peel bitterness to the finish. Quite nice.

Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - APR 23, 2016Very interesting take, can’t say that it works all that well. Pours black with off white medium head. Aroma is of pine, faint citrus, cocoa, and cherries. Tastes of cocoa, cherry, burnt coffee, and herbal hops. Has a low bitterness with a medium slick body. Props for experimenting with this difficult type of brew.
