Best before 6/09...sampled on 8/10/10....but wth, it's only fitty cents! Got on clearance sale at my local retailer, so grabbed bunch of lighter stuff for filler. Hadn't tried this yet, so wanted to know what I'm getting into before buying a 12 pack this fall. I think I like Sammy's Oktoberfest better, but this is ok. Nothing special really, but good economy beer. Will probably have to try fresh to validate this.

Not the best Oktoberfest, actually one of the weaker German Oktoberfest I’ve had. Thin and a little watery. Biscuit, Carmel, a little lemon zing at the end. Tried for the first time in 2009.

Bitterbill (2959) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 27, 2017
From Sep 2007 Purchased at Albertson's for US$7.00 a 6 Pack. Pours from 12oz bottle a clear amber gold with a small head of foam that shrinks quickly and leaves a fine broken layer with a bit of lacing. The smell is of roasted malt, biscuit, and a touch of citrus. The taste is pretty bitter up front and it has some notes of biscuit and roasted malt but again, this is a pretty bitter taster for the style. It finishes dry with a short aftertaste and it's a medium mouthfeel with medium-high carbo. First time I've seen this one in many moons and I find it pretty average as a beer and below average for the style. 1 6'er will do it for me.

This is my all time favorite Octoberfest beer. You can just taste all the different spices throughout but yet its a smooth tasting beer. I look forward to this coming out each and every year

12 Oz bottle in my daughters new house in Laguna Niguel, California on 3rd Feb 2017. Really enjoyed it, good Amber colour, good malty semi-sweet aroma and taste. One of the best O’fest beers outside of the actual, real fest in Munich I can remember ever having.

12 oz bottle poured. Saw this bottle, and just had to have it. Copper pour with a lasting foam head. Pretty skunky aroma, straw from quite a distance. Flavor seems to be similar to the regular Becks product, only sweeter. Some caramel addition. A bit of a spicy malt if you sit here, concentrate, and really think about it. Overall, extremely odd, but not discouraging. Drinkable. My biggest regret: not saving this for a larger tasting. Sorry, Mcberko.

Bottle in Seattle. Thanks Andrew. A Lutton tick if there ever was one! Modest foam, very clear amber Vienna lager. Rotting vegetable aroma. Sweet, disgusting odd malty character. Egg, fermented rotten veg, odd fruitiness. Bright carbonation, at least. Bitter cocoa. Rather disgusting, an insult to the style. Pretty darn similar to the regular becks with a touch of added fruit and disgustingness. Nein, danke.

Panzerfaust (902) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - NOV 25, 2016
330ml bottle from a Lider supermaket in Providencia. Santiago, Nov. 2016. Pours a clear bright reddish color with a small fizzy white head that diminishes slowly leaving a thin film. Aroma is malty, with a good solid profile showing notes of biscuit, bread, caramel and some fruity touches. Slight hints of apple and pear. Quite good. Taste is light, not overblowing, but solid. Mostly sweet, biscuity, with good bitter balance from (probably) Saaz hops. Herbal and apple touches near the finish. Light to medium body. Highly drinkable. I drank gallons of these in the last few days when meeting some friends. Great when in the mood for a simple, straight-forward lager with character.

354 ml bottle. Bought in a Lider supermarket in Santiago. Dark amber/pale color, low head. little smell, some yeast, red fruits, honey sweetness to it. Easy to drink, super sweet ending, and pale beggining, nuts it there. Like a belgium beer without the strength. Well made and balanced. Pretty good value for money.

(bottle) Samples at Gee’s Oktoberfest last month. I will be generous and say maybe this is much better fresh from the keg in the Deutscheland. But this is a poor offering for the biggest beer celebration on earth.
