Clear blonde with massive foam, quite a gusher in fact. Rather subdued aroma with a light spiced touch, a touch soapy. The taste is similar with some of the typical Van Steenberge sweet malts, some spices (again a touch soapy without being too outspoken - I guess coriander), a bit hoppier than most of their other brews. Not that strong in taste, but then again that's to be expected from an accessible blonde Belgian ale (i.e. relatively light in strength)

Speciaal brouwsel voor de Hema? Blond bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: mout, licht citrus, koriander. Smaak: licht zoet, bloemig, wat citrus, licht bitter. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Zeperig mondgevoel, medium body. Afdronk: licht citrus, bloemig en iets van bladgroen.

33cl Bottle from HEMA. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruit esters, Belgian yeast, light lemon peel, coriander seed, very van Steenberge. Flavour is likewise, medium sweet, decent bitterness. Light to medium bodied, firm carbonation but not disturbing. Decent Belgian Ale.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hema Culemborg. Hazy light yellow with a big white head. Yeasty aroma. Sweet taste. Tad hoppier than most Belgian blondes but that’s the only difference.

Clear yellow, thick creamy lasting, acing foam. Malty aroma and taste, light floral tones. Decent beer. (Velp 201606)
