Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - MAR 4, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2019 Another solid one from Bells. Cloudy yellow to light orange appearance. Aroma has some citrus and pine to it. Almost an IPA in flavor, but not quite. Really good balance here, and smooth mouthfeel. Wanted to sample a single first towards the end of my summer beers sampling session(pale ales, kolsh, etc.) Will probably grab a 6-pack before the winter arrives.

Draft. Pours nice amber. The palate is full and the taste is a miss. There’s floral and a little citrus. Below average.

Almost clear golden color with white head. Aroma has a clean malt profile, like pilsener malt, ripe oranges and tangerines and a slight dank hop note. Taste starts with the same citrus fruits but is immediately followed by grapefruit pith bitterness. Aftertaste lingers with earthy hops. Medium body and carbonation, quite smooth on the palate. Overall it’s a well made, classic pale ale.

15.09.2016, 12 oz bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting, hazy. Aroma is mild grassy, wet leafs, old lawn, minerals, moss, light malts, hay, paper, flowers, weeds. Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, minerals, bark, medicine, old lawn, paper, flowers, harsh hops, cardboard. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

Fules (1891) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - SEP 13, 2016
Közepes, rendkívül tartós hab, borostyán szín, szűretlen. Illata gabonás, enyhén fűszeres, pici citrussal. Íze gabonás, gyümölcsös, citrusos, némi gyanta. Kissé fanyar, száraz, közepesen testes, frissítő sör, közepes szénsavtartalommal és keserűvel. Finom, visszafogott APA.

PanMarek (499) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 26, 2016
Pours straw yellow with moderate beige foam and some lacing. Malts dominate the nose with pale and cereal strongest. The hops tend toward grassy. The hops come out stronger on the tongue and more citrusy. Medium body and light fizz, slightly watery texture.

Flaska från Mikkellers webshop. Smak och doft av humle, malt, citrus, gräs, grapefrukt med toner av gräs och örter. Bra maltsötma, fruktig, bra balans och fin beska.

Tap at Bells. Clear golden with nice white head. Lots of bitter grassy notes, some lemon peel, dry malts and flour, bagels. Just over medium bitter and light sweet. Medium bodied.

Hallstein (483) - Skogn, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2016
0,33 bottle from a liquorstore - Beer is grassy, herbal. Flavor has some sweet malts and honeypuffs. Slightly spicy and a bitter finish that does not linger. Quite good.
