COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head. In the richly varied domain of prokaryotic microorganisms, Jelly King reigns supreme. Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop (Citra, Amarillo, and Cascade), harnessing the pleasing acidity of lactic acid producing bacteria (we use a 5-strain house blend), and coming to a bottle near you without a pesky 2 year slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of having your cake and eating it too. This limited edition Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of raspberry and blackberry purée.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2021 11 September 2021. At Summer Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks, Klaas & Liesbeth, cheers to the whole crew! Hazy red, small, pink head. Aroma of raspberry, cassis, yoghurt, macaroon, sorbet, strawberry. Taste has sweet-sour raspberry, cassis & blueberry in a yoghurty, slightly biscuity malt body. Tart, red-fruity finish, bit acidic but not tannic per se. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Good, easy-drinking almost.

Pinball (13654) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2021 bottle. unclear red, pink head. lots of red berries in the aroma, esp. raspberries, bordering raspberry jam, is a bit sweet in the aroma. Flavor is really good, i get a discreee hoppy bite, tons of berries, and a sour beer that matches the sweetness from the berries. Not a crazy sour beer, but very flavorful and quite complex with notes of wood , berries, very sour beer and herbal hops.. Happy i bought it, even though it was crazy expensive to get in europe. for a sour, this is quite easy drinking.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2021 A 500ml bottle, bottled on 17th February 2021, and poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass. It was a cloudy cross between beetroot and merlot reddish purple colour, with a two finger pinkish head that had decent retention, but left only sparse spotty lacing. Aromas jammy fruity mixed berries, especially raspberry, sparkling tangy lemon zest, with light notes of yoghurt and wheat. Tastes sour, tart, moderately jammy, mixed dark berries, raspberry, blackberry, lemon zest, with light bready notes in the background. Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation. Overall I’m not sure how much of the dry hop came through with the jammy fruit representing itself strongly, but this same jammy fruitiness was also what made it thoroughly enjoyable and easy to drink.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2021 Bottle in the sun from Cloudwater, 21st July 2021. Pours a rich cerise pink thick smoothie. Aroma is tart, loads of berries. Taste is raspberry, initially sweetish, followed closely with a large dose of tarter blackberry, quite a pucker to it, lingering sour, with raspberry and blackberry pips. Good, but not up there with Raspberry pure

Nose is tarte berry fruits, good old fashioned fruit trifle aroma, balsa wood, berry pips. Taste comprises sharp berry fruits, balsa wood, berry pips, tarte red berry compote, cranberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Decent on point sour.
