neongolden (3888) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2020UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 (500ml bottle shared by Herbalist, thanks!) Pours lightly hazy bright gold with an average white head. Notes of moderately strong sweet-tart peaches with a fair amount of 'fuzzy peach skin' vibes, softly sweet ester-inflected cereals like a typical saison, light to moderate fruit and lactic lemony acidity, some subtle spicebox phenols, moderate Brett drying neutral wood, balance is quite good with light sweetness, tartness and minerality leading to a crisp, slightly peachy finish with some light dried flower and herb bitterness, a little tannin. Light to medium bodied with fairly high effervescence. I liked this, it wasn't the fruitiest peach beer by a longshot but as a saison it hit the spot on a summer afternoon.
