badgerben (5647) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JAN 24, 2020UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 Can. Deep reddish/purple color with a thick head. Aroma like musty blackberry jam and grape juice. Tart berry flavor. Something like earthy, leathery blackberries. Slightly sour.
Drake (18900) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 2, 2019UPDATED: MAY 2, 2019 12 ounce can, 4/19/19. From a Festival Foods somewhere near Green Bay. Hazy purple, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of berries with a bit of lemon. Pale malt, mild funk. Taste is very much the same, less berry, and a bit of a dandelion note. Medium bodied, delicate, low bitterness, low tartness. Solid. I may have had the boysenberry version but I'm not sure so I'm leaving it here.
MavDunk (204) - - MAR 8, 2019UPDATED: MAR 8, 2019 Pours red with pink head. Aroma is sour and reminiscent of mixed berries. Some raspberry and boysenberry. Taste is a bit more subdued. Not bitingly sour. Berries, maybe some rhubarb. Finishes with a mild sour note. Decent.
