COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For decades Berg Original has been our main beer brand. It has had many names before (Lager, Helles, Export). The yellow color in the label remained unchanged though and eventually turned gold. Therefore many friends of Berg beer call it "the yellow one". In the pub, the inn and on many festivities the "half liter" is Berg beer. It is the synonym for the fine, traditional way of brewing.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 Jaune avec forte mousse. Nez sur le houblon et malté céréales. Gout malté avec un coté céréales douces et un peu acidulées. Classique mais pas trop mal, bonne amertume.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 Feinporige, schnell zerfallende Schaumkrone. Klares hellgelbes Helles. Feiner Geruch nach Hopfen und Getreide. Rezenter Antrunk. Halb-voller, rezent-spritziger Körper mit präsenten süßlichen Malznoten aber ohne dabei herb zu sein oder andere Noten aufzuweisen. Langer, flacher und etwas muffiger süß-malziger Nachhall. Wirklich nichts besonderes, aber durchaus rezent-süffiges und trinkbares Helles.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2021 Nalewa sie jasnozłote, przjerzyste, ładne zbita jasna piana.
W zapachu przyjemne nuty słodowe, jasny miąższ chleba, kwiatowo-ziołowe nuty chmielowe, ogólnie mało intensywnie ale czysto i przyjemnie.
W ustach fajnie nagazowane, jak to helles nie ma dużo ciała, ale nie jest ani trochę wodnsite.
W smaku dalej przyjemna słodowść, kwiatowe, może nawet cytrusowe nuty chmielowe, delikatna, ziołowa goryczka, długo się utrzymuje ale nie zalega.
Bdb helles.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2021 500 ml bottle. Clear light golden, big fluffy head. Lots of hay and straw, white bread, grassy citrussy hoppy notes, floral notes. Medium bodied, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry bitter malty finish. Really good Helles!

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2020 Bottled, from Biershop Baden-Württemberg. Clear golden, mid sized head. Aroma of grass with floral notes. Mid dry with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready and floral, quite hoppy for the style. Marked bitter finish. Very harmonious and pleasant.
