UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Deep black pour. Tan head - fast fading. Aroma is rich and chewy. Licorice, cocoa, bitter malts, assertive bitterness. Barrel quality is apparent. Oak and a bit of booziness. Light vanilla and a rich palate. Chewy and with some licorice quality as well. Warming brings up a light fruity berry note the you the middle. Kind of blackberry/cherry or something. Pretty solid.
