UPDATED: JAN 25, 2021 Rouge carmin à pétillement nerveux, superbe mousse beige persistante, dentelles. Arômes vifs et acidulés, avec caramel, notes fruités rouges, cerise et boisé. Le goût est pareil, lactique et aigre, avec caramel, cerise et noyau. Corps léger avec des notes aigres douces, balsamiques et fruitées.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2020 Good fine foam. Nose Light vinegar, fruits, berries (currants?) Caramel. The taste is very saturated with shades of wine, caramel, dried fruits, berries, barrels, a little cherry on the aftertaste. Very cool! I would like more alcohol)))

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2020 Bottle as Monks Café Flemish Sour Red Ale. Dark brown or bronze color, slightly yellowish foam. Interesting aroma: esters, fruity, light sourness, dried fruit. Sweet taste, slightly sour, dried fruit, caramel, wine, raisins, good.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2020 Woody copper. Thin to medium beige head. Aroma intensity 3.75/5. Herbs, coffee, spices and metal aroma. Medium sour with light sweet finish. Light to medium body

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2020 처음병을 열고 시나몬향인가 했는데 무슨향인줄모르겠다 컵에따르고 맡은향은 신맛이 확나는 레몬향 사워 에일은 처음마셔보았는데 최고다 너무맛있다 원래 뒷맛이깔끔한건지는 모르겠으나 처음마시는 한모금에 맛을 다 올인한느낌

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2020 Labelled Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale. From 75cl bottle. Hazy brown with a thin off-white head that dilapidates quickly. Sour aroma. Haß a nice, mildly sour start, berries. There is also some sweetness, so it is not a raw Sour Ale. Still quite drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2020 Bottle 33cl an amber red beer with low head. Nose is sweet like with kind of artificial cherries. Aroma on sweet cherries, light sourish, cherries skin, griotte notes, bit tart but did not get any barrel or wild notes. Poor Flemish red.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2020 (Monk's Cafe) Dark reddish brown liquid with thick tan head. Very carbonated and lots of small bubbles. Heavy lacing. Odor of sweet malts and cherry. Taste is very sweet; very similar to Concord grape juice, though a bit more tart. Thinner mouthfeel with dry finish. I'm impressed they managed to get this taste, but I can get grape juice here cheaper than this.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2020 75 cl fles. Donker amberkleurig/bruin bier met crème kleurig schuim. Geur: licht zuur, melkzuur, wat rood fruit. Smaak: licht zuur, melkzuur, wat zoetigheid, wat hout, licht fruitig, bessen. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: wat droog, licht zuur.
