6.4% Bottle from Foix de Sarria Patisserie, Barcelona, Spain. Cloudy dark brown with a quickly disappearing thin white head. It has a red fruit and a slight salty flavour with chocolate, minerals, fruit and slight roasted notes on the finish. Ok.

Beer correct but that does not contribute anything. The beer is not bad, it is made following standards but it does not give anything that does not contribute other stubs. I would like to know what water they use.

Pours a cloud brown, with a thumb of soapy looking head. Caramel malty nose, taste a little burnt, a little molasses baked beans, with some lingering sweetness. Not awesome, but hella better that the macro Mediterranean crap I’vehad for the last week (first world problem)

Juks (4443) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2017
330ml bottle, batch L224, 6,4% version, thanks suurjuust. Pours murky hazy reddish-brown, some sediment, small white head. Lots if sweet barley, caramel, some toffee in aroma, dirty. Session barleywine aroma. Taste is tart, sweet barley, off. Fizzy carbo, medium bodied. What was this? Weird one. Not sure if brewmaster wanted to brew like this or is it off.

330ml bottle - thanks suurjuust! at 6.4% (4:2:4:2:8)
Gusher, well caught juks, before it went too wrong! Watery aroma, minerally. Murky amber, small head. Sweet worty taste. Sweet sugariness in the palate, fullishly so, foolishly so?, crisp carbonation. Starchy finish, drying acrid acrid finish. Flawed mess. My first beer(tm).

Marduk (15939) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2017
330ml bottle (thanks suurjuust, as 6.4%). Hazy brown color with divers in it. Bottle semi-exploded. Small size, white head, stays. Limestone, cheese, sour and bit yeasty in aroma. Sour, plastic, jammy, sweet, yeasty in taste. This beer is clearly infected. Uups not drinking it as brewer intended, but BB is 02/18 so whom to blame? Yes you are right the brewer. New wave sour? Nope, don’t want it. Poor brew.

martjoobolut (9757) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2017
Bottle 6.4% abv, batch L224 (thanks suurjuust). Gusher. Pours hazy amber with whiteish head. Aroma malt, minerals, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, slight butter and puke, citrus, malt, caramel, dirtiness. Finish is slightly sour, bitter, and booze. Overall: dirty, but drinkable.

suurjuust (4492) - ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2017 330ml bottle. 6.4% ABV, batch L224. Hazy amber beer, small off-white head. Nose is minerally (is that a word?), metal notes, caramel. Flavor watery with weak caramel notes, some acidity, some minerals. Red berry sourness in the finish. Weird stuff. Is this infected? Probably not, just kinda bad.

2.5
MarkoNm (5204) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 16, 2017
From a stall at La Boqueria Market. Pours murky brown, topped with minimal tan head. Mild caramel with biscuits and rum on the nose. Quite sweet start, malty biscuity. Finishes slightly peppery, mild bitterness. Aftertaste more cookie-like. Light bodied. Drinkable, but that’s it.
