UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 (Bottle) Dark brown colour with brief, foamy head. Something reminiscent of cork residue floating around on the surface. Roasted, vinous, slightly sourish nose with notes of coffee, liquorice, oak wood, a touch of balsamic vinegar, prunes and cherries in brandy. Malty, vinous, slightly tart taste with coffee, tart red berries, liquorice, oak wood, some balsamic vinegar, a touch of port wine, prunes, figs and sour cherries. Full body, but quite smooth and not oily and sticky. A certain sweetness. Interesting and very different. Initially confusing, but seriously growing on me. Vinous, roasty, woody and fairly tart. Great beer!

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2019 Flaska från SB. 2015 vintage. Mörkbrun klar vätska med något skräp som flyter runt överst. Fin doft med syrlig mörk frukt. Katrinplommon, körsbär, plommon, balsamvinäger, lite tanniner, ingefära. Som ett syrligt portvin. Mycket väl dold alkohol. På gränsen till saftig. Mycket gott.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2019 Smak och doft av fat, balsamvinäger, ingefära, nejlika, katrinplommon, körsbär, mörk torkad frukt, vinös ton. Bäst före 2015 så minst 4 år gammal. Bra balans, lagom sötma, fina toner i bra komposition.

Color marrón oscuro, turbio, sin espuma, apenas alguna que otra burbuja grande que se disipa rápidamente. Sin carbonatación. Textura oleosa. Aroma a vino, recuerdos de Oporto, toques ácidos muy presentes, fruto rojo, fruta madura, fruta pasificada, caramelo, madera. Alcohol muy bien integrado en aroma. Parece una cerveza de 9%. En boca es dulce, con menor acidez que en aroma, pero presente de todas formas. Caramelo, recuerdos de vino tinto y Oporto, fruto rojo, fruta madura, fruta pasificada, madera. Final con toques de madera y ligera acidez. Alcohol perfectamente integrado. Da verdadero miedo, aparte de ser rica, parece una cerveza de no más de 10%, ni por asomo. Muy compleja y disfrutable.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with no head. Aromas of vinous oak, nutty chocolate, and sweet toasted malts. Flavors follow same with an emphasis on vinous wood. Very little indication of the ABV. Maybe a lingering warm mouthfeel.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2018 Bottle 33 cl. Black with a minimal head. A cherry, berries caramel and sweet malt and wooden sense. Sweet taste with some sour sense. Oily texture, berries end. Like! Bottled 06.2016.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2018 Bottle (2-Mar-18) Brett sweet berry aroma. Black, no head and suds lacing. Sweet caramel funk berry flavour. Sour berry finish and caramel brett berry aftertaste.

Bottle pour at Mr. B's Wine & Spirits. Deep brown colored appearance with a small head. Aroma of toasted oak, chocolate malt and mild caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, rich, smooth and moderately sweet with a full body and a pleasant finish.
