COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

eddie (178) - ITALY - JUN 5, 2021

Slubgob (410) - West Hartford, USA - MAY 9, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2021 Drank from bottle. Nose of chocolate and hint of cherry. Somewhat sweet in the mouth with more roast and a bit of sweet. Medium finish a bit tacky. It's ok but don't really want more than one. Not sure I'd've called this a dopplebock, but not sure what.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2021 beautiful appearance of clear amber to mahogany colour and medium sized dense, creamy and long lasting beige-ish head; aroma of raisins, prune, soy sauce, yeasty, toasted rye bread, some burnt sugary, roasted nutty and orange zesty notes; taste of malty-syrupy sweetness, roasted bittery notes, toasted rye bread, raisins and prune, as well as minimal soy sauce notes; surprisingly good

kapusil (2195) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 29, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2020 0.33l bottle thanks a lot to Lore. Clear dark ruby body with a lasting white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, orange zest and some toast. It even shows a hint of roasted malts to it when it warms up. Taste of toast, toffee, raisins and some floral hops. Sweeter and less roastier than the average doppelbick, but still very nice.

bdleedahl (4795) - , Saxony, GERMANY - OCT 25, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2020 It is a red beer, not a doppelbock by any means. Clear, crisp, a bit ashy, but a pretty drinkable beer for 7%. Pizzium milano

3.2
maekchu (5321) - JAPAN - OCT 18, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2020 Bottle from Yamaya. Nose of roast malt, a touch scorched and rough on the tongue. Clear reddish-brown color. Flacors are caramel, some unusual hops, red fruit, and dark sugar. Thin body, for a bock. A bit too sweet, perhaps, but not terrible.
