COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutty Brewnette is a unique American-style brown ale. A blend of four different dark malts produces a flavor profile that is sweet with "nutty" notes like Newcastle. But a healthy dose of hops makes this beer hoppier and more balanced than most English brown ales.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2021 Very little smell to this one...taste is also a little watered down...but it's the style I guess.... 'Brown' roasted malt as opposed to the last beer I had that was 'red'...you can taste the difference lol...more like a regular roasted malt ..and empty of depth...a little more bitter perhaps...one dimensional of that roasted bitter malt...Needs more depth...had at BJ's for lunch as covid pretty much over in the US...~605,000 US deaths ..

UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Draft at the BJ's location in Glen Allen, VA. Poured a brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was actually pretty pleasant nutty, malty. Light caramel malts, with some touch of chocolate. Flavor was similar, toffee, some brown sugar, with a little bit of light vanilla. Pretty good.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2018 Dark cola brown pour, with a thick tan head on top. Aroma has brown sugar and chocolate milk. Taste is very smooth and mild. Cocoa powder, milk, and nuts blend up to make you want another sip. Very easy drinking.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2018 A malt forward brown with tones of vanilla, woodiness and milk chocolate. A tiny bit of metallic zing that is not out of place. Plenty of toffee and a nip of brown sugar. Pretty clear brown pour but lacking much head. Great.

It was a nice standard brown. Good coloring, light nutty aroma and mild bitter ale taste. Nothing over the top, but I wouldn't flush it down the drain. Tap at brewery in Colorado.
