Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Cybercat (10436) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 8, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2021 Pours clear amber with a thick ivory head that leaves good lacing. Aroma features crisp fresh malt, sweet apple and a hint of resiny hops. Flavor delivers crisp fresh malt, tangy and sweet apple, piney hops. Texture presents good body and lively fizz. I've got a lovely bunch of ales--

PubRespek15 (417) - Moelv, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2021 Pours a clear copper colour with a nice white head. Aroma - Malt sweetness and hops that are grassy. Also a faint aroma of some fruits. Goes down smooth with a clean aftertaste. For the actual taste this beer is well balanced with nice malts and solid hops.

LagerGuide122 (803) - - AUG 7, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2021 500ml bottle brewed in England at 4.7%. Clear orange-tinged gold with an ample, decent-duration head. Clean hedgerow aroma with faint flowery zest. Moderate+ carbonation. Cookie-dough malt with a little bitter-herb finish. Hints of chocolate and pineapple chunks. Not really my cup of tea, but fair quality brew.

Taste; nutty malts, berryish hops, mineralic caramel, syrupy leaves, hazelnutty bread, and finishes delightfully balanced. Feel; okay body and pleasant co². Overall; very nice brew. Very UKish. [bottle 50cl 4.7% bought at Eide Händel, thanx to Rune for the great idea. T@home near PivotekaH7]

SilkTork (7107) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2021 Lockdown March 2021. The day Myles and I went to the burger van, but it wasn't there. 500ml dark bottle, filtered, direct from the brewery (by Royal Mail). It's a filtered British bitter in a bottle. Humph. Some malt. Some added fizz. Good bits and poor bits. It's OK. But it's essentially quite clean and boring. [2.6] March 2004. Bottle. Sadly this is not something completely different, even if it is tempered over roasted testicles. All the usual suspects: amber, toffee, orange, well behaved, fizz, apple. I actually quite like it - but in this condition a quality ale it aint. [2.9]

Light bitter, medium dry refreshing, light round sweet, sugary note. Light to medium rising body, average thin texture, average to soft gaseous, light bitter vanilla finish. Oerall, enjoyable.
