This would have to be one of the top 3 beers I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. Along with Regal, and Tooheys Red, this beer offers a wide variety of sensations to the palette along with a crisp array of fresh tastes and flavours. Both going down, and coming up. I couldn’t think of a reason why I wouldn’t buy this beer. Why you poofs are whining is a mystery to me. TWO THUMBS UP!

Despite the ’bitter’ name it looks like a lager, smells like a lager and tastes... of not very much. Golden syrup in colour. English-style lager nose, light and hoppy. Malty notes in the mouth but it lacks body. Something floral but chemical and a bit nasty in the middle. Keep walking. (Can - doesn’t help with the flavour)

Bought a carton of this when me and a mate were hitting the piss (At 25bux a carton of 440ml cans). Its not good at all but its just like any other mainstream aussie shit, so my mate can pertend his other aussie mainstream beers rip it up, but they just dont. You could tell this was made of poor quality hops and malt - poor, poor, poor. cheers

Independent Breweries eh? From what? Craftsmanship? A cheap swilling beer that has the positive going for it that it should never be skunked, simply because it is only in a can. Typical taste of thin Aussie macro swill.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 18, 2003
Thought this one was a bit thin ,slight bitterness with no flavour to go with it and couldn't tell the colour as I had it straight from the can.

Virtually no aroma. Sweetish and only mildly bitter taste. It is very watery. The only thing separating this from other Aussie standard lagers is a slightly darker colour.

motelpogo (7697) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 6, 2003
i couldn't be too critical of this, it's like an aussie version of german supermarket beer, dirt cheap and bigger cans than normal. and even tastes okay, some bitterness, the sweetness is never overwhelming, not too metallic

dark in appearance, watery with a sort of malty taste, good for the price (24 bucks for a carton of 440ml cans)
