jgb9348 (9218) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 30, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2020 Quite hazy golden, orange and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head that fades a bit quickly. Aroma of robust citrus fruits with a lot of tropical fruit notes, a little dose of perfume and some solid malt and fructose notes here make this deep and robust. Medium-bodied; Strong fruity flavours at first that show some oranges and grapefruits with a light hit of tropical fruit notes and all balanced with some strong malt notes, a little yeast and some bready flavours at the end. Aftertaste shows the citrus twang with a lot of perceived bitterness from all the hops and alpha acid notes that come through at the end. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a good malt backbone, but tons of fruity and juicy hops which sort of overpower the malts. A good option, if you can find it and you like juicier and slightly hazier IPAs that still have the right balance throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, given to me by the GM at the brewery, after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia in October 2019 - Thanks Erik!

jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - JUL 15, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2019 Pours an opaque golden yellow on tap with tiny bubbles of thick foam that leaves good lace on the way down as it dissipates. Aroma of zesty spice notes with loads of fruity citrus and tropical notes from the hops with a raw wheat and oat backbone. Taste follows, hops on hops, with tropical and white grape notes, and a new school IPA malt base. Soft bitterness, definitely juicy and zesty, solid for what it is.

Eructoblaster (6993) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 7, 2019
UPDATED: APR 7, 2019 On tap at the brewpub. Beautiful, cloudy, golden body with an average, lasting, white foamy head. Strong hoppy taste with malty, peach, melon, and pineapple hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries tropical fruits notes. Ends with a long, tart finish. Not bad.
