17Beer (1621) - Weston, Connecticut, USA - MAR 9, 2021UPDATED: MAR 9, 2021 One pint can. Pours a hazy pine resin gold with a massive dense white head and tons of champagne bubbles. Big juicy papaya and pineapple smells. Nice and tart with a juicy big body and a fizzy mouthfeel. Above average carbonation with a side of the tongue lingering piney finish. Nice effort.
Silphium (3721) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - FEB 16, 2021UPDATED: FEB 16, 2021 Canned 10/16/20, consumed 2/16/21. Cloudy medium orange body, thick, puffy, cream head with nice lacing. Nose initially with a burst of pineapple, then papaya and bready notes. Soft, creamy but sharply carbonated body, with sugary tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya), melon, citrus peel, floral notes, and a moderate resinous-bitter finish. Just the vaguest hint of oxidation after the finish- this has held up very nicely despite being canned four months ago. Probably the best New England IPA I have sampled in this relatively low ABV range, making it a stellar choice as a session beer.
danpilatussss (4) - - JAN 12, 2021 does not count UPDATED: JAN 12, 2021 Probably the best NEIPA. Crisp, fresh, right amount of hope and tropics. As Amazing on a summers day as on a cozy, cold winter night.
british (2) - CANADA - DEC 6, 2020 does not count UPDATED: DEC 6, 2020 Fruity, well balanced IPA with a medium body. I find myself regularly coming back to this one when on the shelves. Probably my go to IPA. Give it a try! Enjoy :)
