UPDATED: OCT 26, 2021 $30 bottle from Santa Clara liquors. Pours black with very thick bottle. Nice medium plus bourbon boozy aroma. Leans sweet, but at a nice level, not over the top. I can’t taste any lactose. Vanilla and coconut barrel notes are hard to detect. Pretty good (because it is barrel aged) but not among the best (and therefore not worth $30).

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2021 Draft at City Beer pours darkest brown with a small tan head. Bourbon chocolate vanilla aroma. Huge chocolatey vanilla bourbon flavor, on the sweet side. Fairly full and syrupy but an unbelievably smooth mouthfeel. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2020 2019 release. 50cl fles. Zwart bier met bruin schuim. Geur: melkchocolade, roomijs, hazelnoten, vanille. Smaak: chocolade, mars bar, iets kruidig, vanille, alcoholisch, bourbon. Matige koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: Lang, zoet, bourbon.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2020 Aromat wanilii, czekolady, alkoholu. Nieco utleniony. Barwa ciemno brązowa do czarnej. Piana jasno brązowa, drobno pęcherzykowa umiarkowanej wielkości i podobnie trwała. Smak słodki, lekko kwaskowy, kakao, czekolada, alkohol. Dużo beczki, wanilii. Goryczka słodowo-alkoholowa, przyjemna. Pełnia wysoka, wysycenie średnie i waniliowy, alkoholowy finisz.
