Medium body, an initial sweetness soon overpowered by a solid tartness. Base beer is totally clean, no baking yeast or other flaws. Very well executed. 110122

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2021 Like a like stout spiked with berries and a little sour. Liked it, didn't love it, but I've got on more can to revisit.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2021 10 oz at Asbury Provisions. It's as good as expected, Given my expectations regarding Boulevard. It's a dark purple color, good head formation. The aroma is berry forward with a little bit of funk behind it. This is way fruit forward but natural, tart, and delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2021 Clear rich purple berry hue with a thin light pink head. Nose has some artificial purple grape drink tones with a little blackberry and blueberry. Crisp lightly tart purple drink flavor that’s a little artificial and jammy, with blackberry and blueberry tones. It has a nice tarness and body and just enough fruity flavor…it’s just an odd artificial purple fruitiness.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2021 Can from Systembolaget. Aroma is a mix of ribena berries, yeast and bar toilets. Clear ribena colour. Decent taste although not as good as I was hoping and certainly an unexciting finish - although a reasonable tartness.
