COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The smooth, soft maltiness of Boss Tom’s Golden Bock is complemented by a crisp but restrained hop presence. The mild warming quality of the beer makes it perfect for days when there is still a bit of a chill in the air. The beer finishes with a lingering dryness, and just a hint of caramel.

Dark golden color with a diminished white head. Sweet aromas with pale malt and grapes. Smells a bit like a malt liquor. Light pale malt flavors with hints of floral hops. A touch of caramel. Some alcohol in the finish and linger. A better than average malt liquor and not quite clean bock. 1/11

Pleasant well rounded bock, albeit somewhat low on flavors. Slightly watery on the ending. All in all quite pleasant.

Tap at New Bohemia. Smallish pint glass. Light golden color...leaning towards orange. Aroma doesn’t really impress...skewing more malty sweetness. Taste is a little more average. Some malt. Maybe mild hops. Not much alcohol presence. I’m on board with the option but I want something more unique. Taste finishes mostly sweet and malt/cereal. Very drinkable. Aftertaste is slightly unpleasant....maybe flat. Much like the book I’d rather drink with Huck Finn than Boss Tom Sawyer. More like middle manager Tom.

Tap at new bohemia. Gold with small head. Subtle aroma. Easy to drink and smooth. But not a ton of flavor. Above average, but not amazing.

Dark clear gold pour. Think head. Aroma of perfume barley, honey cookies. Big malt syrup flavor, almost belgian candi stuff going on here. Tastes a bit like wet leaves. Finishes dry-ish.

Taster on tap at iTAP-CWE in STL during RBSG. Clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good thicker lace. Medium plus body. Smooth kind of soft lighter carbonation. Kind of creamy. Bready malt, light bit of pepper. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, minimal bitter. Solid bock.
