kevinator (5671) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 1, 2015Found an old bottle and it held up well. Bready aroma with spices like cinnamon and coriander. Normal brown color for the style but this had a good amount of debris, which I attribute to the age on the bottle. Solid flavors of bread, cinnamon, clove and other spice from the yeast.

hotstuff (5394) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 28, 2014Rated on 02-04-2012. (Corked and caged bottle, Batch Number/2011-2, Best By Date: 04-2012) When poured, this beer’s appearance is a medium sized frothy, very fizzy beige head that mostly diminishes, hazy reddish brown body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, yeast. sweet, bananas, spicy, clove, and cinnamon. The flavor is sweet, caramel malt, spicy, cinnamon, and coriander. The mouthfeel of this beer is tingly carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is a very quaffable beer and the various flavors come together very well. This beer has a cinnamon aftertaste and this beer is worth trying.
