UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 Ljust gul, klar. Fruktig doft med anstrykning av karamell. Smak av citrus, päron o mango. Viss sötma o avslutas med ovanligt mycket beska, jämfört belgiska förebilder.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2021 Just never got around to rating this. Have had many years, draft and bottles. A clear, deep beeswax-golden with a small, but dense, white head. At best, this has a lovely, gentle Brett nose full of honey, lemon, lime and guava. White and black pepper complement, without overwhelming, and there's a rich, honey-like maltiness, that in worse years, gets too overwhelming. As well, the Brett has a penchant for getting a bit too punchy and tangy. But especially in early iterations, this was a solid, malty, mostly dry, Brett-forward belgian ale. Maybe not quite so saison-y, but delicious at its peak years, nonetheless. But of course, in its non-peak years, this is a massive chore to drink, with sluggish malt character, twangy Brett and too much American hop character.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi, spezie, frutta passita e mandorla fresca.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Robe orangée trouble. Mousse blanc cassé, crémeuse, épaisse et ferme, excellente tenue. Arômes phénols leger et agréable, fruits jaunes, floral écorce d'agrumes. Goût sucré moyen, amertume légère. Texture fluide, légèrement huileuse. Carbonatation très fine, moyennement abondante. Excellente

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2021 (Can) Cloudy orange body with violent carbonation and a huge, frothy, white head that leaves light lacing. Aroma of grain, yeast, light lemon, white pepper, allspice. Flavor is nicely spiced: pepper, allspice; toast, yeast, light lemon; crisp; a hint of the high alcohol peaks through at the end but mostly well hidden. Medium body, medium carbonation; soft and chewy mouthfeel.
