UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 Draft at Elm Fork Taphouse. Classic dark brown stout pour with just a thin ring of bubbles. Fantastic aroma of milk chocolate and dark, sweet malt. The flavor is lightly sweet with coffee bitterness and a touch of vanilla. Very nicely done.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2020 Coconut and coffee aroma. Pitch black color. Taste has everything mentioned above plus a good dose of pepper spice to cut the sweetness. Very nice.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2019 Tap at Craft Pride, Austin, Texas, 9th December 19. Pours black. Aroma dark chocolate, light coconut. Taste is dark chocolate bounty bar, bitter hit, mild pepper kick on the linger. Really pleasant and drinkable

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2019 Draft at Craft Pride in Austin. Black with a lacy tan head. Aroma is great, cinnamon and coconut dominant with some roast and coffee. Like a Mexican mocha. Flavor is the same, very sweet with a big cinnamon kick. Coffee and dark chocolate as well with medium bitterness. Full, slick, intense. Tasty though.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2019 (Draught) Pours an opaque black body with a small tan head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, roasted malt, nuts, vanilla, and coconut. Flavor of roasted malt, cinnamon, chocolate, and coconut.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2019 Pitch black with a thick khaki head. Nose is sweet, lactose, roasted malts and sugar. Chewy palate, heavy lactose up front, roasted malt, cinnamon and vanilla in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2018 Little stubby 33cl bottle pours a dark black with some khaki head. Nose is singular, plenty of spice, pepper, cinnamon, malt, cocoa powder. Flavor is sweet with cocoa and malt, molasses, cinnamon, raisin, ancho. Finishes with a peppery bite, but sweet too.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2018 500ml bottle at the early December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a medium-small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, chocolate, cinnamon. Light chipotle spice. Flavor was similar, roasted, chocolate. Cinnamon. Decent.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 Roast and caramel. A little oil but good consistency. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Bittersweet end.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 From a bottle at the December 2018 RB gathering. Pours a clear dark coal with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and cinnamon. Flavors are bitter roast and sweet Mexican chocolate.
