A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet with light notes of berries and smoke as well as slight acidic notes.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze. Creamy head leaving some laces. Rather mysterious nose with some fruityness. Fairly solid body with sweetish, fruity accents - red grapes all right - and then some smoke. What the f... is that smoke doing in a fruit beer?? Not decidedly unpleasant but a smoked fruit beer must be said to be a very rare experience. Point for the innovation! Thanks to Bov for the trade. 120206

Bottle. Cloudy orange coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts, fruits and dried fruits. Very carbonated. Flavour of malts and fruits with notes of smoke.

fiulijn (27110) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 2, 2005
Muddy red-amber color; big head. Interesting aroma, oak, light fruitness. Dry, some malt and fruitness, but most of all some very nice smokeyness! Odd and interesting!

Rutzicka (102) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 10, 2003
It has a nice foam but an horrible cloudy coffee-like colour. The aroma is fresh and floral with notes of apricot. The flavour is quite sweet and fruity. The finish is a little bit short and fruity.

domtom (65) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 9, 2003
Colour of coffee with a nice foam. Aroma of cream, butter and herbs. The flavour is quite flat and bland with a light acidity. It has a nice herbal aftertaste. A strange looking beer but pleasant and fresh.

Bottled. Muddy orange, lively appearance. Hint of berries in the nose. Clean and sweet, medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Subtle and complex, rather vinuous with blackcurrant finish. Like all the beers from this brewery my first thought was "mediocre", but the more I had it, the more it grew on me.

Bov (14983) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 15, 2003
cloudy brown-amber colour, creamy head and a nice lace, light notes of blackcurrant, smooth, too much carbonation, touch of sourness, fruity finish (blackberries?)
