UPDATED: DEC 4, 2020 Trübe orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hefiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig, leicht hefig, leicht säuerlich. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2019 Das Weißbier sieht im Glas tief orange, fast schon bernsteinfarben aus. Schaumkrone knapp bemessen, Geruch fruchtig. So dann auch der Antrunk, mild und fruchtig, nicht säuerlich. Schwach hefiger Background, erst im späteren Verlauf im Abgang auch leicht säuerlich. Ansonsten kein ausgeprägter Charakter, mild und süffig.

(bottle, thanks karin!) hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel, wheat and barnyard, with some light notes of cooked vegetables, margerine and sweet spices. flavour is mostly the same, heavy wheat and caramel, with more cooked vegetables, margerine, rotten peaches and a touch of chlorine in the finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. pretty bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.

It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of yeast (slightly baking yeast too), fruits like grapes (no banana) and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast (mild), fruit (again I find grapes) and wheat, and the finish is slightly - rather almost not yeasty. It’s OK, but a bit boring.

500ml bottle. Aroma is yeast and slightly fruity, little apple hints. Appearance is cloudy orange with a huge white foam. Taste is light sour and sweet. Has a watery mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall a good Weizen.
