Hazy red-brown coloured with a massive rocky tan head of foam. It has a tart red fruity flavour with a nutty body followed by berries on the sweet and roasted finish. Good.

Nose is biscuit, hint of red berries, dark malts, spice, brown bread.
Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, biscuit malts, sugar dusting, dried and red berry fruits.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Not bad for the style.

Red hue to the brown body, decent off-white head on top. Mild malty nose, the taste also malt forward; good hop base too. No mention of Rye on the label, but it has that distinct Rye flavour within it's make up.

Appearance - deep red to copper ale. Generous off white head.
Nose - glace cherry and strawberry. Biscuit.
Taste - toffee, dried orange and raisin. Hobnob biscuits.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Rich but dry finish.
Overall - a decent example of the style.

The aroma is sweet, oily, jammy berry, Victoria sponge cake, blood orange, toffee, biscuit and some gummy bears. The taste is dry, punchy bitterness, sticky, resinous, toffee, varnish, gummy bears, piney, touch of alcohol and some citrus peel with a drying finish.. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough stuff.
