COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in collaboration with Peterhead Prison Museum this Riot Red Ale is a no-nonsense, heart on its sleeve kind of red ale, unashamedly packed full of character; a strong, caramel and biscuit nose with a hoppy full strength punch!! Previously named The Jail Ale

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2021 Keg at MacGregors, Inverness, 09/10/21. Clear reddish amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, hint of red berries, dark malts, spice, brown bread. Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, biscuit malts, sugar dusting, dried and red berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for the style.

BlackHaddock (12580) - The County Time Forgot, Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2021 330ml bottle: BB 10th Aug 2021. Now called 'THE J'ALE', not 'The Jail Ale'. Red hue to the brown body, decent off-white head on top. Mild malty nose, the taste also malt forward; good hop base too. No mention of Rye on the label, but it has that distinct Rye flavour within it's make up.
