BeerViking (7883) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2022 Can from the Best of 2021 box, pours hazy yellow-gold with a settling foam and a soft and lightly spiced nose with hints of bread and sherbet. Smooth and clean, more bread and spice, refreshing and easy-drinking. Good brew.

bdleedahl (4795) - , Saxony, GERMANY - JAN 8, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 Nice clean beer. Hits all the classic notes and has a nice modern feel. It’s very good for the style. Brewdog 2021 adventkal

IPARater72 (7) - - JAN 7, 2022 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 From the advent calendar. Pours golden, slightly cloudly. Nice aroma with hints of malt, yeast and banana. Taste could be slightly stronger (bit watery). Sessionable, but not really memorable.

Scopey (21884) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - JAN 6, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2022 Can from BD Online. It pours lightly hazy yellow - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is doughy white bread, wheat, hay, grass, custard creams, wet herbal accents and sweet banana split. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, straw, cracker, bitter - sweet, green banana, banana split, custard creams, hay, grass and tangy orange marmalade on wheat bread with a shirt, tangy finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. I don't what is 'new wave' about this witbier as it tastes like a fairly standard one. Drinks easy, but wouldn't stand out in a crowd.

jmgreenuk (16022) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JAN 1, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 330ml can from the Brewdog advent calendar. Poured a hazy golden straw colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt and banana yeast. The flavour is yeasty banana, with a watery, herbal, crisp, light acidic palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2021 Liquide doré laiteux sans mousse. Nez malté, pain et légèrement coriandre. En bouche, c'est identique au nez avec une pointe de citron et d'orange, correct dans le style mais sans plus !!

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 33 cl. can shared with Hilde @ home, bought online @ Brewdog, beer 20 of the 2021 advent calendar. Hazy milky golden with a white head. Light citrus aroma. Sweet taste with a light bitter finish. Bit thin but okay for a witbier.

shoestring (691) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - DEC 21, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2021 Not a lot aroma or nose .bit chalky and coriander in mouth . Lemon / grapefruit there too. Easy drinking to be fair . Not the worst and I’m enjoying it far more than score suggests . Head lasted better than others said - poured fairly violently into small Hoegaarden tumbler . Covid Tuesday - 2 days after positive test - so may not be fully tasting/smelling:-). Easier to session than other Wits that’s for sure and I would do so no problem on a hot summer day

Gangstergafje (2697) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 20-12-2021; can; at the Swedish house (bought at BrewDog, #20 of their 2021 Christmas calendar). The looks are good. Pale yellow colour, haziness and rough white foam. Foam retention is average. The aroma of the beer is nice. Malts are prominent. They give grain and hay aromas, smooth. Also a touch of white bread. Quite nice to be honest. The hops give some zesty notes with some hints of lemon. Also quite nice. The yeast gives typical aromas of orange zest, some banana and koriander. It is a typical Belgian Witbier, but I feel like the hop aromas are a bit more prominent. It has a bit more of a tropical vibe from the hops. It enhances it. The taste of the beer is also nice. Bitter hops, sweet malts and a nice acidity from the fruity notes. All in all, it is a pretty well balanced beer. Well brewed. The mouthfeel of the beer is also pleasant. Medium body, smooth text and high carbonation. The finish is nice. In there there are some nice zesty notes, a nice fruity twist and some spicy edges. All in all, it is a nice enhancement of the Witbier style. A bit more modern and contemporary.
